Hello! My name is Jeremy Paul, and I'm a Nottingham-based Web and Applications developer. Most of my time is spent working for ChurchApp Ltd; a cloud-based Church management system. My duties are to maintain, develop and innovate the system — which is necessary when there are so many Churches that work in different ways (depending on their denomination and their country's culture). At ChurchApp there is a growing, fun and energising team of people, all passionate about the product, which is amazing to be a part of and to work in!
I have a diverse set of skills, which I use on a day-to-day basis, including;
I have experience with Wordpress, Joomla and Kentico CMS development. I love coding in lots of different languages and even though I prefer web development based on PHP I still have industry experience developing for C# .NET websites and pure C# projects.
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2012 I worked for E-Learning provider BYG Systems. While I was there I discovered a desire to work in a digital design company and so for just over a year I worked for Distinction. I moved to ChurchApp in 2014 so that I could further my skills, including Android and iOS development, while developing a product that I truly believed in.
Currently I only code on Macs but I also frequently use Linux and have a lot of experience with Linux systems, including at an administrative level. I use Macs because they are so good for web design app development. I love using Coda, Xcode and Android Studio for development along with SourceTree for Git, Sequel Pro for MySQL and GIMP for any design.
Jeremy listened to my vision and contributed ideas of his own. His expertise and character made the experience effortless and the end result is a website beyond what I had dreamed.
I had only the most basic ideas of what kind of thing I wanted but Jeremy helped focus my vision and turned it into a reality. I can wholeheartedly say I recommend using his services!
